Road Race winners were Harry Tanfield who showed a master class in winning his event as did brother Toby. Katie Thornton, Francis Nozedar and Daisy Freer being the other winners. Time trial winner was Harry Tanfield and Elliot Davidson was victor in the skills. Biggest improvement in the TT was Emma Temple, 16 riders beating their previous bests.

It has been decided to have 9 counting events from the 11 held and the League tables are attached

Over the 11 rounds 666 rides took place which averages at 60.5 riders (if you can get half a rider) per night 110 riders competed for the trophies. As you can see some very closely contested age groups with the U6 ending up as dead heat. Charlie and Harry Tanfield continuing to win their respective Age Groups. Charlie winning every age group that he has been able to since 2005.

Emily Slack being the biggest improver by 21 secs. A tough skills test saw Elliot Davidson coming out on top, beating second place Charlie Tanfield by a massive 9 seconds. With two rounds remaining (Aug 29th and Sept 12th) nobody has made the group their own.

The RR winners were Charlie Tanfield, who beat Matthew Worton by a tyre in the 5 lap race, Aidan Bowler, Joe Wilson, Elle Liddell and Findlay Davies. Normal service resumed in the TT and skills both won by Harry Tanfield. Hannah Liddell being the biggest improvement by 25.40 secs. The groups are all still open with 3 rounds remaining, with the 10 best rounds of 12 being taken into consideration.
Best wishes to Josh Teasdale following the crash whilst warming up for the RR. Josh has broken his wrist and underwent an operation this afternoon to get it pinned. Get Well Soon from all at The League 2000
